Members of the Rotary Club of Hondo-D'Hanis stopped by Woolls Intermediate School and visited with 3rd grade students. Students learned about Rotary, the type of service Rotary offers in the community, how they can become active participants, and most importantly they learned about the 4-Way Test.
The Four Way Test is a nonpartisan and nonsectarian ethical guide for Rotarians to use for their personal and professional relationships. The test has been translated into more than 100 languages, and Rotarians recite it at club meetings:
Is it the TRUTH?
Is it FAIR to all concerned?
Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
Teachers were given posters with the 4-Way Test to display in their classrooms, and students received coloring books and crayons. This was a very rewarding project for both the Students and Rotarians!
